My children have a great love for animals, so as soon as they started playing this learning game, they were instantly locked in for hours of gameplay while learning at the same time. I found this app to be very useful in helping my young ones learn letter sounds through many games that offer beautiful scenery for the kids to enjoy. The audio within the app is very clear and understandable and the overall interface is so easy to use, any child can learn quickly. Overall this is a great app and I would highly recommend this to family and friends that have young children. While my kids are playing games, the best part is that their learning so much from it at the same time!

This is a great app for teaching children phonetics by primarily associating the starting letters of animals to the sound they represent. The app is highly polished and functions well. It has a nice story to carry your child around an island. It was nice to be able to have a variety of puzzles or tasks along the way. It incorporates so many good elements that keep kids attention — bright graphics, clear and fun sounds, trains and stickers! It does this all while actually teaching the child the build blocks of reading. There are more areas on the island to unlock or you can continue to play this area until your child masters it. Settings options are great, functional without being too complex. I also thought it was cleaver to have a speaker icon on each screen to repeat the task at hand. I must admit, I needed to hear what sounds I was supposed to be finding once. Well done.

This is fantastic- its really helped my daughter learn phonics. Thanks to this app, shes way ahead of the other kids at preschool now. It lets her practice the sounds that each letter makes, and she loves playing the games.

So far the best phonics teaching app I found on AppStore. A lot of interactive elements to help kids concentrate on learning at the same time having fun. Recommend this to all parents :D

This app is very practical for kids learning. It is interactive and teaches my 3 year old how to write letters, words and more. I love how the app caters to many learning styles that include sounds, visual and hands-on lessons. There are lots of lessons to choose from. There is a paid version to try out too. I recommend this app for your kids!

First Phonics and Letter Sounds School is a fantastic app for parents of children who are just learning to sound out their first words. I absolutely fell in love with the graphics and how easy First Phonics is to navigate. The narration is cute, too, and very easy to understand and follow along with. Im sure kids will love the variety of colorful and adorable charaters included in First Phonics. This is definitely an app worth investing in for a young child!

Great, well-thought out app to prepare children for reading. I have a full version of the app. I love that this app is frequently updated and right now there there is a new update for the tracing letters and popping balloons game. One of our favorite apps in the home. It helps lay the foundations by making children understand the relationship between letters and their sounds and how the sounds compose words. My son has a lot of fun playing it and earns a ton at the same time... Highly recommended!

I use this tool with my 3-year-old son and he loves it. He already knows more than most of the children at his day care center. I dont know where I would be without this wonderful app. If you have young children, this is a must have app. There are no problems at all, just download and use. Paying extra for the full version is really worth it. Especially because the developers definitely took a long time to create this wonderful app. Thank you devs!

This app is great for children, especially my little brother. It has a nice interface, and the colors are really easy to look at. The concept of the app is fantastic. It allows my brother to practice sounding out words and letters. I can already tell he is ahead of most of the kids in his class. Overall, a great app!

This is a really educational yet fun learning tool for kids. Its perfect for those just learning to read and write. I love the introduction. Its very interesting and attracts kids in that age category. I would recommend downloading this on an iPad for a bigger interface to work with. My two year old had a lot of trouble with the tracing. He became really frustrated. It seemed pretty unforgiving to me.
